About the brand

Movado

Movado was founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, in 1881.

Movado is known for its minimalist Museum Dial, created by Nathan George Horwitt in 1947, with a single dot at 12 o’clock representing the sun at high noon. In 1960, this design became the first watch dial accepted into the permanent collection of New York’s Museum of Modern Art. The brand’s collections include Museum Classic, BOLD and Series 800.
