Epos is a Swiss watch brand founded in 1983 by Peter and Erna Hofer as Montres EPOS SA, with historical roots in James Aubert SA, established in the Vallée de Joux in 1925.

Epos specialises in mechanical watches using Swiss base movements, mainly from ETA and Sellita, and develops its own modifications such as jumping-hour and regulator displays. Its movements are decorated, often by hand, and nearly all models have transparent case backs. Collections include Emotion, Passion and Œuvre d’Art, with designs combining classical and modern elements.
