Atlantic originated in Bettlach, Switzerland, where Eduard Kummer founded the company in 1888 under the name EKB.

Worldmaster is Atlantic’s flagship collection and remains a defining part of the brand. The range includes automatic, hand-wound mechanical and quartz watches, with classic, elegant and sporty designs. In 1960, Atlantic introduced the Speed Switch mechanism, which allowed the date to change 52 times faster than before.
