The Katyusha model is inspired by the battle glory of the BM-13 multiple rocket launcher system. It was a symbol of Soviet artillery power during the Great Patriotic War and is still considered one of the highest achievements of our arms designers worldwide. The protective-colored dial is adorned with a scarlet star and protected by durable sapphire crystal. Markers are in the form of Arabic numerals. The geometry of the hands resembles the shape of shells. The fluted crown features a flame image – a symbol of the Eternal Flame. The screw-down case back is adorned with a sculptural composition of the memorial complex in honor of Captain Ivan Flerov's Battery, located near the village of Pishchalovo, Orsha district, Vitebsk region, where on July 14, 1941, the 'Katyusha' had its baptism of fire. The natural perforated leather strap resembles shell guides. A commemorative keychain is included.
