About the brand
Corum
Corum was founded in 1955 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, by René Bannwart and his uncle Gaston Ries.
Corum is known for its Admiral’s Cup series, first introduced in 1960 with a square case and a hand-engraved sailboat on the case back. The Golden Bridge, introduced in 1980, features a hand-engraved baguette movement visible through a sapphire crystal case. The Coin watch, launched in 1964, housed an ultra-thin movement within a genuine $20 American Double Eagle gold coin.
